    City 'monster home' discussions continue

The City of Sunnyvale will host the third of three community meetings on large homes tonight at 7 p.m. in the multipurpose room at Peterson Middle School, 1380 Rosalia Way.

On Aug. 15, city of Sunnyvale staff met with the planning commission and city council regarding a study on large homes. A series of potential changes to the current regulations that may address community concerns on this issue were identified and discussed. The Sept. 13 meeting is being held in order to gather additional input from the community and to discuss potential changes to single family development regulations.

If you are unable to attend this meeting but would like to offer comments on this issue, please call 408.730.7440, or email planning@ci.sunnyvale.ca.us. The city council is scheduled to hold a public hearing and take action on this issue at its Nov. 14 meeting .
