    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department

    Spousal abuse--Sept. 5, 9:52 p.m., 1300 block Kingfisher Way. Sunnyvale officers responded to a residence on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with the involved parties. During a verbal argument, the suspect grabbed the victim by the hair and hit the victim in the ear, causing visible redness.

    Grand theft--Sept. 5, 2:35 p.m., 1000 block W. El Camino Real. Unknown suspect removed $7,500 from an unlocked desk drawer.
