    Email Glitch

We've been experiencing a problem with our email. Although we have received some email from outside our internal system, we are aware of some emails that never arrived. If you have sent a press release or letter to the editor that you think might not have been delivered, please call 255-7500, ext. 27 and leave a message telling us your name, the subject of the message and your phone number. We'll get back to you if we can't find it in our email record.

LaSalla and Nieto serve the city well

I want to write to this newspaper and be on the public record that as a city employee of 25 years, I support City of Sunnyvale City manager Robert LaSalla and Human Resources Director David Nieto. I believe their leadership, along with the efforts of others to improve our City of Sunnyvale organization do not deserve the kind and amount of criticism they have received in this newspaper. Most of what has been written in this paper is not new or news having been said in the comment section of the attitude survey or in dialogue meetings with the City Manager.

During this period of transition, within the City of Sunnyvale organization, I know all employees would say unequivocally to the citizens and businesses of Sunnyvale, "Please be assured your public servants will continue to be committed to providing excellent customer service."
