    Sunnyvale residents share their grief


    In the face of incomprehensible tragedy, the city of Sunnyvale was able to collect itself and function as close to normal as possible in the face of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Approximately 1,000 people showed up for a candlelight vigil on the night of Sept. 14, said Linda Bagneschi, Sunnyvale's communications officer. The vigil, which was held in front in the flagpoles at Sunnyvale City Hall, brought out many in the community, including may of the local leadership.   More
