    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department

    Commercial Burglary--Sept. 10, 1:50 p.m. 1000 block Arques Avenue. Officer was dispatched to above address where a suspect was in custody for attempted fraudulent credit card use. Officer took custody of the suspect and booked him at DPI HQ.

    Auto Burglary--Sept. 10, 10 p.m. 800 block of Gary Avenue. Suspect entered into locked motor home and was living inside. The suspect had been sleeping in the bed, using the toilet, and was watching TV. The suspect was arrested and booked.

    Auto Burglary--Sept. 9, 1:15 p.m.-2 p.m. 100 block E. El Camino. Suspect entered the victim's locked vehicle, grabbed the victim's briefcase and laptop cover and fled in an unknown direction. Officer was unable to locate any physical evidence.

    Theft--Sept. 11, 3:50 p.m. 1000 block Arques Avenue. Officer observed the suspect select an item of merchandise and put it in his shopping cart. The suspect then went to a different area of the store and cut open the packages and put the contents in his front left pockets of his shorts. The suspect then went to the cash register to pay for another item, but made no attempt to pay for the concealed item. The suspect exited the store and was detained by the witness. He was booked and transferred to county jail.
