Driving under influence--Sept. 18, 7 p.m., on Cascade Drive. A Sunnyvale man, 44, was cited and released.
Assault, battery on officer--Sept. 17, 10:15 p.m., on W. Remington Avenue. A 29-year-old man, also charged with resisting and delaying a police officer, was cited and released.
Driving under influence--Sept. 17, 8:45 p.m., on All America Way. A 28-year-old woman was cited and released.
Misdemeanor hit and run--Sept. 17, 10 a.m., on Kiet Court. A Cupertino man, 34, was cited and released.
Failed probation--Sept. 16, 2:30 p.m., on Iris Avenue. A 23-year-old man was booked into main jail on $5,353 bail.
Spousal abuse--Sept. 15, 4:15 p.m., on South Fair Oaks. A Sunnyvale man, 31, was booked into main jail pending a bail hearing.
Petty Theft--Sept. 15, 12:25 p.m., on Kifer Road. A Sunnyvale man, 41, who attempted to steal retail merchandise from a housewares store, was cited and released. The suspect exited the store without paying for two drill bits estimated to be worth $56.45. A citizen's arrest was made by store employees.
Drunk in public--Sept. 14, 2:40 a.m., on Lynxwood Avenue. A 44-year-old man was cited and released.
