    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department

    Violation of a Restraining Order-- Sept. 16, 1 p.m., 1000 block of Blair Avenue. The suspect came within 300 yards of the victim, which is in violation of a court order.

    Bomb Threat--Sept. 16, 2:45 p.m., 900 block of E. El Camino Real. An unknown suspect called the a local business and said, "I'm gonna blow your store up," and then hung up. Officers searched the premises but did not locate any suspicious packages.

    Desecration of American Flag--Sept. 16, 8:42 a.m. 800 block of Ponderosa Avenue. The patrol officer noticed an American flag on the school grounds. The flag was displayed upside down on the flagpole in the ground. The flag was torn and had burn marks on it.

    Commercial Burglary--Sept. 9, 1:02 p.m. 1600 block of Belleville. Suspect(s) entered a school classroom. They knocked over desks and chairs and threw miscellaneous items around the room, damaging a computer. Nothing appeared to have been stolen form inside. Witnesses said the suspect(s) fled the scene.

    Possession of Marijuana--Sept. 8, 6 p.m. 600 block of E. Evelyn. Suspect was located in his vehicle with less than 1 ounce of marijuana. He was cited and later released.
