The following items were culled from reports filed by the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Stolen property--Oct. 2, 11:10 p.m., 800 block of El Camino Real. A man was arrested for possession of stolen property and grand theft. He was taken to main jail, and bail was set at $10,000.
Controlled substance--Oct. 2, 7 p.m., 1000 block of Arques Avenue. A man was arrested for possession of heroin, destroying evidence, being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of needles. He was also charged with resisting arrest.
Auto burglary--Oct. 2, 3 p.m., 100 block of Caspian Drive. Someone broke into a car through the driver's side window. The car stereo was stolen. The dash was broken, and wires were pulled out. The woman's purse, which was sitting on the floor, was not touched.
Auto burglary--Oct. 1, 7 a.m., 800 block of Trenton Drive. A man left his locked Jeep in his driveway overnight. The next morning he discovered that the lock had been punched out and the stereo removed. The man also had another car parked on the street that also had the stereo removed.
Driving under the influence--Oct. 1, 10:35 a.m., El Camino Real. A woman was arrested for driving under the influence. Bail was set at $2,500.
Auto burglary--Oct. 1, 9:15 p.m., 800 block of Ticonderoga Drive. Someone broke into a man's car and tried to remove the stereo. Only the face of the stereo was removed, and the stereo was damaged.
Auto burglary--Oct. 1, 8 p.m., 800 block of Trenton Drive. Someone broke into a locked car by punching in the driver's side door lock. The car stereo was taken from the car.
Stolen property--Sept. 30, 11:30 p.m., 900 block of Henderson Avenue. A man was arrested for possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $5,000.
