    Sunnyvale Community Center Theatre production of 'The Frog Prince'

    The California Theatre Center announces its 26th family season for young audiences,with a performance of The Frog Prince. The use of puppetry, dance and comedy bring a popular Grimm Brother's tale about a childish princess to life.

    The performances are on Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 20 and Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. Tickets range from $11.50 to $12. The Sunnyvale Community Center Theatre is located at 550 E. Remington Drive. For more information, call 408.245.2978.

    Sunnyvale Community Center holds pottery sale

    The creative arts center at the Sunnyvale Community Center is having a pottery sale Oct. 19, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Oct. 20, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will sell functional ware, jewelry fountains, teapots, wall pieces and more.

    Sunnyvale Presbyterian free concert on Oct. 13

    The Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church is hosting a free Christian music concert, "By Your Grace," featuring Intersections Music Team. The concert takes place Oct. 13, 7:30 p.m. at Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church, 728 W. Fremont Ave., Sunnyvale, in the Fellowship Hall.

    Sunnyvale Garden Club

    Author Amy Stewart will speak about her new book, From the Ground Up, about the joys and pitfalls of planting a new garden, during the Sunnyvale Garden Club meeting on Oct. 16 at 9:30 a.m. in the Arboretum at the Sunnyvale Community Center, 550 E. Remington Ave., Sunnyvale. New members are welcome.
