    Photo: Dons host MPC Saturday

    De Anza quarterback Joey Stover turns the corner and heads up field in action against San Jose City College to open the season. The Dons will be back for a home game on Oct., 28, 1 p.m., when they host Monterey Peninsula College at their Cupertino field. Players from local high schools playing for the Dons this fall include David Jackson and Bernardo Zeballos of Cupertino; Mitch Ignaitis, Ben Mika and Jim Keil of Homestead; Marcus Page of Fremont; and Danny Carter of the King's Academy.
