Scare away hunger

This Halloween, children can trick-or-treat and benefit charity at the same time. Vallco Fashion Park will host a "Scare Away Hunger" food drive and trick-or-treat throughout the mall from 5 to 7 p.m on Oct. 31.

Children age 10 and under can bring a nonperishable food item and exchange it for a free trick-or-treat bag to use throughout the mall. Volunteers from the Salvation Army will be on- site to collect donations and hand out treats. All donations will be distributed throughout the Cupertino area.
