CUSD offers preschool intervention program
Cupertino Union School District offers an early intervention program for preschool age children who demonstrate significant delays in speech and/or language development. The program is provided through federal funding at no cost to parents.
Openings are now available. Parents, teachers or child care providers interested in having children tested for this program should contact Marsha Clark, program specialist, at 737-7262 by Nov. 18.
District honors Gina Nicosia
Gina Nicosia, a systems analyst, was honored as the Fremont Union High School District's Classified Employee of the Year Oct. 7.,
Nicosia began her career with the district in 1982 at Lynbrook High School as the first computer support specialist. She helped teachers with their first encounter with computers--the Apple II. She researched software and traveled around the bay area gathering materials to help teachers incorporate the emerging technology into the curriculum.
Nicosia moved to the district office in 1995 as the computer support specialist and was promoted to Systems Analyst in 1996.
