King's girls beat San Francisco in volleyball

The King's Academy girls' volleyball team pulled out an easy win over San Francisco Christian last week. The Knights won 15-3, 15-2, 15-11 to push their record to 6-1 in the Christian Private Schools League. They are 7-8 for the year.

King's lost a tough 3-2 nod to SF Christian in boys' soccer play despite a pair of goals by Joe Madrigal.

King's lost 4-0 to Liberty Baptist later in the week to slip to 1-5-2 in league play and to 1-9-3 for the year.

Dons win in men's, women's soccer

The De Anza men's and women's soccer teams continue to win in Coast Conference action.

The Lady Dons turned back Cañada 3-1 on goals by Kara Grondzik, Tina Walters and Tonia Kilby. The Dons are 7-0 in the conference and 9-1-2 for the year.

The De Anza Dons, meanwhile, blanked Skyline 2-0 and beat Hartnell 4-1 to jump to 10-1 in conference play and to 11-1 for the year.
