    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department

    Possession of Controlled Substance--Oct. 23, 6:35 p.m., 500 block El Camino. Officer was dispatched to store by a report of a male subject who was drunk in public. During investigation and while speaking to two male subjects, officer observed suspect reach into both of his front pockets and pull something out, and then throw it into a trash can. Officer checked the trash and found a small, clear plastic baggie which contained off-white, rock and powdered substance. The suspect was arrested. Test proved the substance to be 1.5 grams of amphetamine.

    Vandalism--Oct. 22, 5:15 p.m., 1000 block Gloucester Court. Suspect allegedly threw several rocks at victim's vehicle, eventually smashing the rear window. Suspect admitted to doing so and was taken into custody. The suspect also began to act in an unusual manner and made threats to the officer.

    Obscene Phone Calls--Oct.. 21, 9:56 a.m. Kifer and Wolfe. Suspect allegedly made obscene phone calls to the victims. Victims convinced the suspect to meet them at a restaurant near Kifer and Wolfe. Officers and victims responded to the area. The officers detained and interviewed the suspect. Suspect was released pending review by the district attorney.
