The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.
Burglary--Oct. 29, 10:15 p.m. A 20-year-old male and his 19-year-old brother were arrested in the 300 block of Sunnyvale Saratoga Road for burglary, conspiracy, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Theft--Oct. 24, 2 a.m. Two cars in the 900 block of Rockerfeller Dr. were burglarized, resulting in $1,700 in stolen property.
Accident--Oct. 25, 6:16 a.m. A vehicle driving north on Fair Oaks avenue near Weddell Dr. rammed into a tree located on the median. The driver, who was the only occupant in the car, suffered severe injuries. He was transported to Stanford hospital via Life Flight helicopter. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
Theft--Oct. 29, 1:37 p.m. A male suspect trying on a pair of tennis shoes at Las Palmas Tennis Shop in the 800 block of Russet Dr. was apprehended by officers shortly after fleeing the store without paying for the shoes.
Possession--Oct. 28, 1:30 p.m. A 38-year-old male living in the 900 block of Amador Ave. was arrested after officers who served a narcotics search warrant recovered the following items: .3 grams of heroin, 51 syringes, a handgun, and a rifle. The suspect was under the influence of heroin at the time of his arrest.
Possession -- Oct. 27, 3:03 p.m. Officers stopped a 23-year-old male suspect for operating a motor vehicle while not wearing a seatbelt. The officers learned the suspect had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. A search of the car turned up 4 plastic baggies containing marijuana and related paraphernalia.
Spousal Battery -- Oct. 17, 6 p.m. A 41-year-old man was arrested in the 500 block of Crawford Dr. for spousal battery.
