Extra issue reports campaign results
The Sun will publish an "Extra" Nov. 6 reporting the results of local elections. The special edition will be available at many local spots, including these:
Dick's Supermarket, B&J Supermarket, Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce, Sunnyvale Parks & Recreation, Red Rock Cafe, Bean Scene, City of Sunnyvale offices, Sunnyvale Library and Towne Oak Restaurant.
Papers also will be available at the following elementary school sites for parents of children enrolled at the school: Jarvis, Cherry Chase, Cumberland, Ellis, Lakewood, Nimitz, San Miguel, Stocklmeir, Vargas and West Valley.
Moffett advisory meeting scheduled
The first meeting of the Sunnyvale/Mountain View Community Advisory Committee, formed to study the future use of Moffett Federal Airfield, is scheduled for Nov. 20. The meeting, which will be held in Mountain View's City Hall, 500 Castro St., will be replayed on KSUN over the weekend. Replay times had not been confirmed at press time.
At its first meeting, the committee plans to discuss future meetings, structure and topics to study. The public is invited to all meetings.
