    Alumni Soccer

    Youth Soccer

    The Sunnyvale Spartans, a boys under-18 Class 1 soccer team, is looking for players for the winter indoor season and spring outdoor season.

    Tryouts will be held Mondays and Wednesdays, 6-7:30 p.m., at Cupertino Middle School through Dec. 6. Additional tryouts are slated for Nov. 12 and 19, noon-2 p.m.

    Youth Volleyball

    The Quicksilver Volleyball Club will hold tryouts for its age group teams (ranging from 12 to 18).

    Tryouts will be held on Nov. 12 at San Jose City College at the following times: ages 17 and 18-- 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; ages 15 and 16-- 1-3:30 p.m.; and ages 12, 13 and 14-- 4:30-6:30 p.m.

    Tryouts will be held on Nov. 19 at Oak Grove High School at the following times: ages 12, 13 and 14-- 9-11 a.m.; 15 and 16-- noon-2 p.m.; and ages 17 and 18-- 3-5 p.m.

    Players should arrive early to sign forms and bring their own knee pads. The tryout fee is $20.
