Sunnyvale Community Players Junior Theatre has put out a call for performers ages 8 to 20 for its production of the 1970's rock 'n' roll tribute to the '50s: Grease.

Auditions don't start until Dec. 12, but singing-and-dancing actors should begin preparing: the Community Players ask those auditioning to reharse a short song, then bring sheet music to the Sunnyvale Community Center Theatre, 550 E. Remington Drive, between 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Dec. 12 and/or Dec. 13.

Actors are also asked to bring a recent photo, and to wear comfortable clothes and dancin' shoes. Hoop skirts and pompadors are optional.
