The following incidents were culled from reports filed by the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Found property--Nov. 2, 10:30 a.m. 1100 block of Ayala Drive. A man was pulled over for speeding. During a search of the man's wallet for identification, a credit card and Social Security card bearing another person's name were found. The man claimed he found the cards and had not had a chance to return them.

Petty theft--Nov. 2, 12:40 p.m. 1100 block of Kern Avenue. A man entered an electronics store and placed several items into a bag. He left without paying and refused to cooperate with security officers when he was apprehended. When confronted by security officers, the man complained of chest pains, but he refused medical treatment when fire crews arrived.

Auto burglary--Nov. 2, 1:05 p.m., 1200 block of Lakeside Drive. A woman walked down to her underground garage and noticed that the driver's side window of her car was smashed. The CD face of her stereo was removed, along with several CDs.

Petty theft--Nov. 11, 7:15 p.m., 1100 block of Kern Avenue. A man entered an electronics store and removed several items from the shelf. He placed the items into his jacket and went to the counter to pay for another item. The man left without paying for the items concealed in his coat. He was cited and released.

Auto burglary--Nov. 1, 2:28 p.m., 300 block of Wolfe Road. A man returned to his car and found that the passenger's side door handle was broken. The stereo and CDs were taken, as were a pair of roller blades and a set of golf clubs.

Petty theft--Oct. 31, 2:45 p.m. 100 block of Lawrence Expressway. A woman walked into a warehouse department store and removed several items from the shelf. She placed the items into her purse and continued shopping. She placed several items into a cart and went to the counter to pay for the items. She paid for the items in her cart and then left the store. When she was confronted by security officers, she admitted to taking the items in her purse. She was cited and released.
