The Sun Sunnyvale's Newspaper Sports Briefs Adult sports Registration is now being accepted for the Sunnyvale adult basketball and volleyball seasons The basketball season begins Jan. 4. The registration fee is $525 (plus $10 for non-residents), and the deadline is Dec. 11. Games are played Sunday through Thursday. The volleyball season will get under way on Jan. 5. Baseball camps A series of Stanford holiday baseball camps will be offered in November and December. Hitting and defensive instruction will be offered over Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 27-29, and there will be pitching, hitting and defensive camps over Christmas vacation Dec. 20-22 and Dec. 27-29.
