The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.
Possession--Nov. 30, 1:40 a.m. Officers responded to a call from the 600 block of Kirkland Drive saying that transients were sleeping inside a parked car. At the scene, officers found two glass pipes inside the car as well as a plastic baggy containing an off-white powder that later tested positive for methamphetamines. The officers had the car towed.
Domestic Violence--Nov. 29, 2:48 a.m. A 31-year-old male suspect was arrested on the 1100 block of W. El Camino Real after an officer witnessed him kick and hit his partner several times.
Assault--Nov. 29, 1:04 a.m. A 23-year-old male was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon on the 100 block of S. Murphy Avenue.
Possession--Nov. 24, 2:30 p.m. Police arrested a 25-year-old male on the 700 block of Lakeway for driving under the influence of a controlled substance. After receiving consent to search his hotel room, officers found 1.1 grams of methamphetamines, a small scale, small Ziplock bags, ledgers and cellular phones. A 20-year-old female was later arrested in connection with the case.
Armed Robbery--Nov. 17,
1 p.m. A 57-year-old man was arrested for armed robbery and being in possession of a concealed weapon at the corners of W. El Camino Real and Fair Oaks Avenue.
Burglary--Nov. 17, 9:05 p.m. Three cars in the 600 block of W. Maude Avenue were broken into on the same evening, causing $1,610 worth of damage and stolen goods.
