    De Anza Force

    The De Anza Force Soccer Club will hold tryouts in January for CYSA Class 1 and Class 3 teams. Teams will play the spring season, then continue into the fall of 2001.

    Age groups, as of the fall of 2001, are for boys and girls under-9, under-10, under-11 and under-12 teams.

    High school rugby

    The Silicon Valley Rugby Football Club is looking for high school players (ages 14-18) from Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Saratoga, Mountain View and Santa Clara for the spring season.     Pony Baseball

    The Sunnyvale-Cupertino Pony Baseball organization is now holding registration for the 2001 season for players ages 13-18. Players ages 13-14 play in the Pony division with those 15-16 playing Colt league baseball and those 17-18 playing in the Palomino division.

    The Sunnyvale Metro Little League will hold signups for the 2001 season at the following times: Jan. 6, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Ponderosa Park; Jan. 10, 7-9 p.m., Ortega Park; Jan. 13, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Raynor Park; Jan. 17, 7-9 p.m., Ponderosa Park; and Jan. 20, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Ortega Park.
