Speak Out
Leonard Tran, holiday hero
On Saturday, December 11, I went to watch my daughter in the Holiday Parade at Lakewood. My 94-year-old friend Lucy and I waved and cheered as the different groups and children went by, especially Sierra. Afterwards, we enjoyed the lunch provided by AMD and the fellowship of our neighbors. Then Lucy and I dropped my daughter off at home and were on our way to do a little Christmas shopping.
This was when I realized my purse was missing. We retraced our steps, but no purse was found.
Just when I thought all was lost, to my surprise, the next day I received a phone call. My purse was found! I cannot thank Leoanard Tran enough; not only did he return my purse, but everything was still there (Credit Cards/Cash/Calling Card etc.) It is wonderful to know that there are honest people willing to take time out to help a stranger.
I want to thank Leonard Tran for doing the right thing. I hope everyone will take a minute this season to do something nice for someone else and to make them as happy as I am. Happy Holidays!
