Local Little Leagues hold signups for spring 2000 season
Leagues in Little League District 44 have announced early registration for the 2000 spring season. Players must live within league boundaries and must present a birth certificate and proof of residency to enroll.
Sunnyvale Southern--Baseball and softball signups to age 16, Saturdays, Jan. 8, noon- 3 p.m., and 15 through 29, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at DeAnza Park Rec Building, off Ticonderoga, just west of Mary Avenue in Sunnyvale, and Wednesday, Jan. 12, 6-8 p.m. Round Table Pizza, Cherry Chase Shopping Center, 665 S. Sunnyvale Metro--Signups for players ages 5-18 (as of July 31, 2000), Jan. 8, 9-3:30 p.m., and Jan. 12, 7-9 p.m., at Raynor Park Rec Building, 1565 Quail Ave.; Jan. 15, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., at Ponderosa Park Rec Building, 811 Henderson; and Jan. 19, 7-9 p.m., and Jan. 22, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., at Ortega Park. Divisions include T-ball, ages 5-7; baseball, ages 7-12; softball, ages 7-18; and Challenger (children with disabilities).
