So it must be that time of year again--time for... baseball? That's right, because local leagues are holding signups for the upcoming 1999 season. Sunnyvale Metro The Sunnyvale Metro Little League will hold signups for players up to age 12 on Jan. 9, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Ortega Park Rec Building, 656 Harrow Way; Jan. 13, 7-9 p.m., Raynor Park Rec Building, 1565 Quail Ave.; and Jan. 16, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Ponderosa Park, 811 Henderson Ave. For more information, call Jerry Feldman at 247-2227. Sunnyvale National The Sunnyvale National Little League will hold signups for players up to age 16 on Jan. 9, 16, 23 and 30, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., and Jan. 6, 13, 20 and 27, 6-8 p.m., at the Fairoaks Park Rec Center. Sunnyvale Serra The Sunnyvale Serra Little League will hold signups for players up to age 14 on Jan. 9, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Jan. 10, 1-4 p.m., and Jan. 13, 6-9 p.m. at the Serra Park Rec Building, 730 The Dalles. Sunnyvale Southern The Sunnyvale Southern Little League will hold signups for players up to age 16 on Jan. 9-30, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Las Palmas Park Rec Building, Russette and Erie Drive, and Jan. 13, 6-9 p.m., at the Round Table Pizza, Cherry Chase Shopping Center, 665 S.
