Youth soccer The De Anza Youth Soccer League will hold registration for the fall recreation program on July 19, Aug. 2 and Aug. 28, 6:308:30 p.m. each day, at Creekside Park, on Miller between Bollinger and Stevens Creek. Sign-ups are for players who will be 9 or younger as of July 31, 2002, and the cost is $95 per player. Players must provide a birth certificate or passport and a small (1x1) photo. Parents may request that players be placed on the same team with same age/gender friends. The De Anza Youth Soccer League serves youngsters in Saratoga, Cupertino and West San Jose. Fall ball The Tri-Cities Little League will hold fall ball sign-ups for players ages 716 on July 25, 5:308 p.m., at Wilson Park. The season runs from September through October, and the cost is $55 per player. Mosier golf The 22nd Ross Mosier Golf Classic and banquet, which benefit cystic fibrosis research at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, will be held at the Stanford University Golf Course on July 29. San Jose State camps San Jose State University baseball coach Sam Piraro will head up the annual SJSU summer baseball camps for players ages 917 this summer. Specialty camps are slated for July 29Aug. 2 (pitching camp for ages 1217, 10 a.m.noon, and hitting camp for ages 917, 13 p.m.). The cost is $125 per player (both sessions $200), and camps are limited to the first 25 campers. All campers receive a free T-shirt, and there will be camper evaluations and special awards. Dammit Run The Dammit Run will return to Los Gatos for its 29th running on Aug. 17. Race-day registration will begin at 6:30 a.m., and the starting gun will blast at 8:30 a.m. Awards will be given to the top 10 male and female finishers in the following divisions: open, 3034, 3539, 4044 and 4549. The top five male and female finishers in the 13andunder, high school (ages 1417), 5054, 5559, 6064, 6569, 70andover and heavyweight divisions will receive awards. The pre-registration entry fee is $10 ($30 with a T-shirt), and the fee is $20 on race day ($40 with a T-shirt). T-shirts alone are priced at $20 and will be sold at the track on race day or in advance at Athletic Performance, 55 W. All-Sports Camp Santa Clara University will host its Summer All-Sports Camp for children with a "sincere interest in sports and outdoor recreation."
