David H. Garcia, a resident of Sunnyvale, died on July 27. He was 75 years old.
Born in Fresno, Calif., Garcia was a Westinghouse technician for 41 years. He was a World War II veteran who loved camping at Bass Lake and singing around the campfire, according to his wife, Hortensia. He taught his family many songs, including his favorite, "In the Evening by the Moonlight."
He is survived by Hortensia, his wife of 49 years, daughter Yolanda Humphrey of Watsonville, sons David A. Garcia, Robert Garcia and Gregory Garcia, all of San Jose, and three grandchildren.
The family suggests donations be made to Carmelite Fathers, P.O. Box 3420, San Jose, 95156.
