Veteran of the local music scene, John Gaar's band has become a hit in Sunnyvale. Attracting a huge crowd at the Sunnyvale Art and Wine Festival in June, the band is growing a fan base through regular appearances at Sunnyvale bars and clubs.  More Sunnyvale has until Oct. 28 to decide fate of the city's stray and needy animals.
