Fremont HS crunches for exams SVACA OKs Sunnyvale's request for extension JCPenney will close in 2003
Although Fremont High School's student body thinks that yet another test is redundant, the school is preparing its juniors for the state-mandated California High School Exit Exam.  More Sunnyvale has until Dec. 18 to decide if it will continue participating with the Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority (SVACA) or explore other options for housing the city's stray and abandoned animals.  More Yet another Sunnyvale business has succumbed to the economic slump. The JCPenney in the downtown Town Center Mall is getting ready to close its doors early next year.  More
