Auto burglary—Oct. 27, 3 p.m., 1400 block of S. Wolfe Road. A Sunnyvale public safety officer responded to the above location on a report of an auto burglary. The rear window had been torn out and a computer bag worth $50 had been taken.
Vandalism—Oct. 25, 3:07 p.m., 500 block of S. Fair Oaks Avenue. Two waste containers were defaced using colored spray paint. The bins were located at the rear of an apartment complex. The estimated cost to repaint is $65 per bin.
Auto burglary—Oct. 25, 1:25 p.m., 1000 block of Aster Way. Between 11 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 25, unknown persons forced entry into the victim's vehicle and removed an AM/FM CD player, worth $300, and a pair of sunglasses, worth $300. The person tore apart the dashboard, damaging the heater and air conditioning controls, to access the stereo.
Auto burglary—Oct. 25, 8:30 a.m., 600 block of S. Fair Oaks Avenue. Between 10 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 8:25 a.m. on Oct. 25, unknown persons forced entry into the victim's vehicle by smashing a window. Stolen were one Sony AM/FM CD player, worth $300, 100 CDs, worth $1,500, one Olympus Auto Focus camera, worth $150, and one custom-made dance outfit, worth $350.
Grand theft—Oct. 25, 7:04 a.m., 600 block of San Luisito Drive. Between 11 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 7 a.m. on Oct. 25, unknown persons jacked up the victim's vehicle and removed all four tires, worth $500, and all four tire rims, worth $1,500. After removing the tires, the vehicle was left resting on a red jack stand and a black hydraulic jack.
Stolen auto—Oct. 25, 12:58 a.m.,
100 block of Berwick Drive. A person crashed into a house with a stolen vehicle. The driver then fled the scene and was later found hiding in a backyard without permission to be on the property. The driver did not have a license.
