Jacqueline Ramseyer, a photographer, and Darren Orrell, an engineer, were married Oct. 6 at Sanborn Park in Saratoga. The service was officiated by the couple's friend Kate Carter, and attended by family, friends and the couple's three 3 dogs.
Jacqueline Ramseyer age 36, is the daughter of Joanna Weinberg of Redding and Howard Ramseyer of Stockton. Born in Indiana, she graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Texas and San José State University with a bachelor of art in studio art and minor in photojournalism. She works as a photographer for four newspapers at Silicon Valley Community Newspapers in San Jose.
Darren Orrell, age 32, is the son of Janice Mitchell of Arkansas and Steve Orrell of Saratoga. After graduating from high school in Arkansas in l988, he spent five years in the U.S. Navy. He works as a senior research and development engineer.
Jacqueline and Darren met at the Agenda Restaurant in San Jose three years ago and celebrated this by holding their wedding reception at the restaurant. They spent their honeymoon in the wine country and reside in Mountain View.
