February is Spay/Neuter Month at Humane Society

During the month of February, the Humane Society of Santa Clara Valley is offering spay/neuter surgery for 50 percent off their regular price. Spaying and neutering helps prevent pet overpopulation and prevents certain types of reproductive cancers from developing.

The Humane Society is one of the largest animal shelters on the West Coast. The nonprofit organization cared for approximately 30,000 animals last year. For more information, call the Humane Society's "Spay/Neuter Month Appointment Line" beginning Jan. 13 at 408.727.3383, ext. 763.
