One time Sunnyvale resident, Kalpana Chawla, was one of the seven astronauts lost Feb. 1 when the Columbia space shuttle failed to return to earth on Saturday. Chawla was the only woman from India to travel into space.

Budget shortfall Suzi Blackman Housing ordinance
Community leaders from the Sunnyvale City Council, the Sunnyvale School District, the Chamber of Commerce, and local nonprofit organizations came together Jan. 29 to tell the citizens of Sunnyvale that they would stand united in the face of the massive budget cuts proposed by Gov.
