ISP offers soldiers free email accounts

Newsguy, a Sunnyvale-based provider of Internet services, has announced it will furnish free six-month accounts for soldiers and their families.

Jazz society offers music and dance

The South Bay Traditional Jazz Society, a 30-year-old nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of traditional jazz music, holds a monthly concert and dance on the fourth Sunday afternoon of every month.

'Foreigner' will be performed in church

Studio Theater of California, a nonprofit organization, will perform The Foreigner. Ann Tzoumas will use nontraditional staging in her direction of the show. Citizenship classes begin on March 31

Sunnyvale-Cupertino Adult and Community

Education is offering free classes to help prospective citizens prepare for the citizenship interview. On April 12, a special one-day class takes place. Bunnyfest 2003 will come to Sunnyvale

For Other Living Things, a pet store in Sunnyvale, is teaming up with The Bunny Hayloft to host Bunnyfest 2003. In addition to serving as a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Santa Clara Valley and an adoption opportunity, the event offers valuable information for current and potential rabbit owners. Rabbit owners may attend with their pets. There will be fresh carrots, timothy hay, water and a quiet lounging area for the rabbits. UCSC offers biosafety course for professionals

UC-Santa Cruz Extension is offering a course on biosafety. The class is designed to give professionals who are responsible for biosafety in their organizations a clear understanding of relevant concepts, guidelines and regulations associated with the handling of biohazardous materials so they can effectively manage and implement their own biosafety program.
