Cultural arts night offers Holly Near
The Sunnyvale Parks and Recreation Department presents "An Evening of Cultural Arts" featuring Holly Near, a vocal talent with a passion for music.
There will be two performances, April 4 and 5 at 8 p.m. at the Sunnyvale Community Center Theater at 550 E. Remington Drive. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $18 for seniors and students. Call 408.733.6611 or visit www.ci.sunnyvale.ca.us/recreation for more information.
Foundation to host annual Crab Feed
The Fremont Union High Schools Foundation is hosting its annual Crab Feed "FUN" Raiser on April 4, 5:308 p.m., in the Hinson Campus Center at De Anza College. Sponsored by the foundation, the Rotary Club of Cupertino and De Anza College, this event will include a silent auction, a live auction and prize drawings.
Over 900 people attended last year's crab feed, which raised almost $40,000 to support each of the district's high schools. Tickets are $30 and may be purchased at district high schools and at the foundation office or by calling 408.773.1218.

Zoe Lofgren gets honor at Improv
Santa Clara County Supervisor Liz Kniss and San Jose City Council members Cindy Chavez and Linda J. LeZotte are hosting an event titled "Women on the Move: It's Not a Laughing Matter," to honor Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren for her service and commitment to improving conditions for women and children. Nursery school to celebrate 50 years
Cupertino Co-operative Nursery School in Sunnyvale is inviting parents and students who have attended the school over the past 50 years to come together for a reunion. The event will include speakers as well as opportunities for graduates and their families to view the school and reminisce. Families attending are asked to bring a nut-free dish to share and their child's "memory books." The event will take place on May 10 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the nursery school at 563 W.
