Free email to families of soldiers
By Jennifer Zhang
In this time of war, Kinko's is making communication a little bit easier for the families of U.S. military personnel currently stationed in the Middle East.

Kinko's introduced the Military Family Support Program on March 24 to help service members stationed overseas keep in better touch with their families back home.

Through the program, Kinko's in the United States are donating 30 minutes of high-speed Internet access to military families.

With information identifying their relationship to military personnel, families can take advantage of this free service at any Kinko's location nationwide.

"Caring for our communities is one of the core values of Kinko's," said Susan B. Parks, executive vice president of operations for Kinko's. "When we heard how many of our neighbors are away from their families, we naturally wanted to find a way to help."

"So far I haven't seen anyone using the service here," said Suzanne Dickson, branch manager for the Kinko's at 20660 Homestead Road in Cupertino. "But I think that will change once we get the word out. I don't think many people are aware of this program."
