The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Vandalism—April 8, 4:20 p.m., 1200 block of W. McKinley Avenue. A woman and her son had an argument, and the man left her apartment. When the woman closed the door the man began kicking it. He bent the metal screen door and broke the glass. Then the man went to the rear of the residence and broke another window. The total damage to the woman's house is valued at $200.

Drug possession for sale—April 8, 9:23 a.m., intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and Maude Avenue. A public safety officer initiated a vehicle stop on a driver and conducted a search of his person and vehicle. Inside the vehicle the officer found one bag containing marijuana, four plastic bags containing methamphetamine and one paper bundle containing cocaine. The officer also found a cell phone and $1,250 in cash. The man was booked into county jail.

Auto burglary—April 6, 12:45 a.m., 1100 block of Lochinvar Avenue. An unknown person forced entry into a vehicle and removed a tachymeter from the dashboard and four tire rims from the rear seat. The stolen items are valued at $2,325.

Petty theft—April 5, 12:50 p.m., 1000 block of E. Arques Avenue. A person entered a store and placed two games into one CD-ROM game box and proceeded to the cash register. The person paid for the one CD-ROM game but did not pay for the other two that were concealed inside.

False bomb report—April 4, 8:15 a.m., 300 Angel Avenue. An unknown person called in a false bomb report to the residents of a house. The person called the telephone number and said, "Get out of there. A bomb's in the basement." The person then hung up. A subsequent security check of the basement and the surrounding area revealed nothing suspicious. The entrance to the basement area was locked upon arrival. Public safety officers have no suspects or investigative leads.

Arson—March 21, 8:45 p.m., 1000 block of Morse Avenue. An unknown person set fire to a decorative floral wreath located on the front door of a woman's apartment.
