Battered women can call Columbia

The Support Network for Battered Women now offers services through the Columbia Neighborhood Center.

The 23-year-old support network helps women, children and families who are living in fear and violence.

Callers receive information about the dynamics of domestic violence. They can receive information about counseling, the police, the medical community and social services.

There is also a crisis intervention program that offers counseling sessions as well as support groups throughout the week.

The 24-hour, toll-free English and Spanish help line is 800.572.2782. The website is www. snbw.org

The Columbia Neighborhood Center is located at 785 Morse Ave., Sunnyvale. Call 408.523.8150.
