Cost cuts Layoff postponed Disaster prep
In a move to cut costs, the Santa Clara County Superior Court is shifting employees and its misdemeanor cases from the Sunnyvale courthouse to Palo Alto.  More Though the funding cuts coming from the state are sure to be severe, the Sunnyvale School District has agreed to postpone any layoff decisions until September.  More With all the talk these days of possible terrorist attacks, the SARS epidemic, earthquakes and biological warfare, the city of Sunnyvale decided to offer a program to educate residents about what to do in the event of a disaster.  More
