The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Possession of drug paraphernalia—July 19, 9:45 p.m., intersection of Alturas Avenue and Ahwanee Avenue. An officer arrived at a residence because of a report of a man peeking through the window of the house. The officer contacted a man who appeared agitated and anxious and who matched the description of the peeker. The officer searched the man and found a glass pipe. The officer arrested the man and transported him to the department of public safety. The man later admitted to having smoked methamphetamine earlier in the day.

Assault with a deadly weapon—July 19, 1:16 a.m., 1200 block of S. Wolfe Road. Nine people got into a fight and weapons were involved. Officers arrested three people and transported them to county jail.

Vandalism—July 18, 11:15 p.m., Intersection of S. Sunnyvale Avenue and McKinley Avenue. A woman had stopped at a red light when the front passenger window of her car suddenly shattered. She did not see or hear anyone prior to the incident.

Auto burglary—July 18, 9 p.m., 400 block of Madera Avenue. A man found the trunk of his vehicle open and his rear passenger window broken. An unknown person had stolen the man's stereo. The stolen property is worth $300.

Drunk in public—July 17, 9:20 p.m., intersection of Bernardo Avenue and W. El Camino Real. A man was under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for being drunk in public.
