Auto burglary—Sept. 29, 8:51 a.m., 1500 block of Quebec Court. An unknown person removed a speaker and amplifier from a car. Value of stolen items is $240 total.
Auto burglary-Oct. 5, 11 a.m. 600 block of Garland Avenue. An unknown person forced entry into a vehicle and removed the face plate of a stereo but was unable to remove the stereo itself. The person damaged the dashboard in the process. The stolen faceplate is worth $100.
Commercial burglary-Oct. 5, 3:20 a.m., 1200 block of E. Arques Avenue. A witness observed a person attempting to break into a locked storage bin on commercial property. The person left the property. The witness picked the person out of a photo line up prepared after the incident occurred.
Under the influence of a controlled substance-Oct. 4, 12:41 a.m., Intersection of Old San Francisco Road and Fairoaks Avenue. An officer stopped a vehicle and found the driver to be under the influence of a controlled substance. The officer arrested and booked the driver into county jail.
Commercial burglary-Oct. 4, 8:30 a.m., 100 block of Commercial Way. An employee arrived at work and found the front window of the office broken and an interior office window broken. An unknown person stole a computer and screen from the business.
Vandalism-Oct. 4, 1 a.m., 400 block of E. Maude Avenue. An unknown person used an unknown object to scratch the hood and passenger side of a woman's vehicle.
Under the influence of a controlled substance-Oct. 3, 2:16 a.m., 700 block of N. Fair Oaks Avenue. A pedestrian flagged down an officer and asked if he could drive his vehicle without a driver license. A check revealed that the man was wanted on a warrant. The officer evaluated the man and arrested him for being under the influence of a controlled substance. He obtained blood from the man for evidence.
Petty theft-Oct. 2, 3:55 p.m., 1600 block of Hollenbeck Avenue. A man took a box of medicine from a drug store without paying for it. Store security personnel placed him under citizen's arrest and an officer cited and released the man.
Possession of a fictitious bill-Oct. 2, 12:19 a.m., 100 block of Persian Drive. A person gave a fictitious bill to an employee of a store and requested change. An officer arrived and arrested the person for possession of a fictitious bill.
