The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Domestic violence battery—Nov. 2, 8 a.m., 600 block of Iris Avenue. A woman reported that her boyfriend wrapped a cord connected to a key ring around her hand and brought her to the ground, causing injury. An officer arrested the man for domestic violence battery and violation of a domestic violence restraining order.

Auto burglary—Nov. 2, 12 a.m., 400 block of N. Mathilda Avenue. An unknown person forced entry into a parked vehicle and removed a car stereo and several CDs worth a total of $220.

Assault with a deadly weapon—Nov. 1, 1:50 a.m., Intersection of Murphy and Washington avenues. Officers observed an altercation between three women. A woman struck another woman twice on the head using her high-heel shoes as a weapon. The victim sustained two lacerations to her forehead and was taken to El Camino Hospital. The officers arrested the woman hitting with the shoes.

Auto burglary—Oct. 31, 10:20 a.m., 700 block of Carlisle Way. An unknown person entered a car and removed 25 CDs from a door panel and another 25 CDs from a center console. The stolen items are worth $500.

Auto burglary—Oct. 31, 6:15 a.m., 1000 block of Aster Avenue. An unknown person entered a car and removed a subwoofer and amplifier worth $450.
