Public Safety
The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Burglary—Dec. 7, 6 p.m., 1200 block of Wildwood Avenue. Officers responded to a call about an automobile burglary. The caller said he had parked and locked his vehicle the night before, and the next morning, when he returned to his car, he discovered that his right rear window had been smashed. A CD player and several music CDs were missing from the vehicle.

Burglary—Dec. 6, 2:45 p.m., 700 block of El Camino Real. An unknown person entered a vehicle by smashing a window with an unknown device. The person stole a laptop computer from the front seat and a CD player/radio from the dashboard. No fingerprints were found in the vehicle and there were no suspects. There were no witnesses to the crime.

Domestic violence—Dec. 6, 2:30 p.m., 600 block of Iris Avenue. A man and a woman got into an argument over a recent breakup. The man grabbed the woman and shoved her out of the way, bruising her. The two of them had lived together for about three months, and the woman was pregnant with the man's baby. Neither of the people had been drinking or was under the influence. A restraining order was filed, and the man was booked.
