The District 44 Little League is holding sign-ups for its Challenger Division, a program designed for players ages 7­17 who are physically or mentally disabled. Registration is free and the season runs from March to June.

Serra Little League

The Sunnyvale Serra Little League will hold sign-ups for the 2004 season for players ages 5­18 on Jan. 7, 6­9 p.m., and Jan. 10, 9 a.m.­2 p.m., at the Serra Park Rec Room (corner of Hollenbeck and The Dalles in Sunnyvale).

Sunnyvale Metro

The Sunnyvale Metro Little League will hold registration for the 2004 season for boys ages 5­12 and girls ages 5­18 on Jan. 7, 6­8 p.m., and Jan. 10, 10 a.m.­3 p.m., at Ortega Park, 656 Harrow Way; and Jan. 14, 4­8 p.m., at Raynor Park, 1565 Quail Ave. The season begins in March and ends in May.

Southern LL

The Sunnyvale Southern Little League will hold sign-ups for players ages 5­18 for the 2004 season on Jan. 10, 17 and 24, 9 a.m.­noon, at the De Anza Park Rec Building, and Jan. 7, 6­8 p.m., at Round Table Pizza, 665 S. Bernardo Ave. The Jan. 10 sign-up session includes the league's Baseball-Softball Fun and Skills Day and Pancake Breakfast. For more information, call 408.738.1992.
