Burglary—Feb. 22, 10 p.m., 900 block of Linden Avenue. A woman contacted police after discovering that her five storage lockers had been broken into. Her doll collection was stolen, along with doll clothes, a word processor and some luggage.
Assault with a deadly weapon—Feb. 22, 9:30 a.m., 100 block of Santa Susana Street. A man at Kaiser Hospital reported that his wife had stabbed him in the arm with a knife. The woman claimed they had been arguing and that she had been holding the knife when her husband came towards her. She said his arm was cut when he bumped into her.
Resisting a peace officer—Feb. 22, 1:04 a.m., 1400 block of Norman Drive. An officer stopped a driver for speeding, and the man pulled over into a driveway. After exiting the vehicle, the man fled. A search of the area was conducted with the help of police dogs and the driver was identified.
Petty theft—Feb. 21, 1:15 p.m., 600 block of Kifer Road. A man entered a store and after shopping for a little while, took a toilet tank fill valve from the plumbing aisle, cut the package open in the back of the store and hid the item under his shirt and sweater. He was stopped by loss prevention personnel after he exited the building without paying for the toilet piece. He was placed under citizen's arrest, and later cited and released by police officers.
