Camino Medical gets to heart of health

To help local women better understand risks associated with heart disease, Camino Medical Group in Sunnyvale is holding a series of forums as part of the Women's Heart Advantage Health Forum program.

On March 10 and 17, two programs a day will cover topics related to heart health.

The March 10 program includes "Understanding Menopause" at 6 p.m. with Dr. Vivien D'Andrea from Internal Medicine. At 7:30, Dr. Ravin Agah will talk about "Alternative Medicine" practices.

On March 17, the 6 p.m. session will cover "Women and Heart Health," with Dr. Jane Lombard from Cardiology, followed by "When Delicious Meets Nutritious," with registered dieticians Dalia Perelman and Toni Toledo.

All forums are held in the Camino Medical Group Urgent Care conference rooms at 201 Old San Francisco Road in Sunnyvale. They are free of charge, but reservations are required.

Little-known festival comes to Sunnyvale
