The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Under the influence of a controlled substance, stimulant—March 1, 2:08 a.m., corner of Blazingwood and Sandia drives. An officer stopped a car because of an expired registration. The officer found that the passenger of the car was wanted on a $25,000 warrant. The passenger showed signs of being under the influence of a stimulant and was arrested, processed and booked into county jail.

Domestic violence—Feb. 28, 10 a.m., 300 block of E. Duane Avenue. During a domestic dispute, a woman claims her partner pushed her, before grabbing her by the back of the collar and pulling her backwards to the ground.

Commercial burglary—Feb. 28, 3:30 a.m., 900 block of E. El Camino Real. An unknown person entered a closed, locked business on El Camino Real and stayed for an unknown length of time. The person left two beer bottles behind when he or she left, and the cash drawer in the front cash register—with an unknown amount of money taken out—was left open.

Domestic violence—Feb. 27, 11:35 p.m., 1000 block of Reed Avenue. Officers responded to a call of domestic violence and had to separate an arguing couple when they arrived on the scene. The female told the officers that she and her partner had been fighting and that the man had grabbed both of her wrists and pinned her to the ground.
