Homes for Giants
The San Jose Giants are looking for host families to take in players for the 2004 summer season. Players will need accommodations for the California League season that runs April 1 through Sept. 7.
"We're looking for a family atmosphere," said Linda Pereira of the Giants' front office. "And we like the host families to become part of our family as well."
The Giants provide host families with a season pass and parking pass for games played at San Jose Municipal Stadium, and the club hosts picnics at the stadium during the year for players and their host families.
For more information on the host family program, call Pereira at 408.297.1435, ext. 19.
