The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Commercial robbery—March 20, 10 a.m., 700 block of South Wolfe Road. Officers responded to a call of three adult men involved in a robbery at a local supermarket. After being seen throwing stolen items—including alcohol, meat and hygiene products—into a waiting car, two of the men fled the scene on foot, the other drove off in the car. The driver of the car banged his elbow while fleeing.

Possession of drugs without a prescription—March 20, 8:00 a.m., 100 block of Grape Avenue. The driver in a driving-under-the-influence accident was found with unprescribed Valium, marijuana and alcohol containers in her possession.

Vandalism—March 20, 7:40 a.m., 1000 block of Duane Court. Five people found that their cars had been vandalized sometime during the night. Gang graffiti was written on them, as well as on a nearby sound wall and a nearby business.

Manufacturing a controlled substance, amphetamines—March 19, 3:00 p.m., 1000 block of East El Camino Real. Officers visiting a house to follow up a commercial burglary case obtained written and signed permission to search the house. They found a substance that tested positive as an amphetamine. A non-operating manufacturing lab was also found. All the residents of the house were arrested.

Battery—March 19, 5:30 a.m., 900 block of Asilomar Terraces. During a family disturbance, one member of a family pushed and choked another.
