Burglary—April 26, 7:40 a.m., 1200 block of Picasso Drive. Officers were called after an unknown person(s) forcefully took a credit card, keys, lounge chairs and a stereo system from a locked vehicle.
Battery—April 24, 12:05 a.m., 500 block of E. El Camino Real. Officers were called to a retail store due to an argument because of a dispute over store hours.
Domestic violence, battery—April 24, 10:43 p.m., 500 block of N. Mathilda Avenue. A woman reported that a man had come to her apartment between 8 a.m. and noon on April 15 and placed his hands on her neck in a choking manner.
Assault with deadly weapon—April 24, 9:24 p.m., 500 block of E. Maude Avenue. A man was stabbed with a knife in the left lower abdomen. A suspect is in custody.
Violation of a domestic violence restraining order—April 24, 6:23 p.m., 900 block of Hamlin Court. A public safety officer was dispatched to a home where a man and woman were involved in a physical altercation. The victim and witnesses stated that the man had thrown the woman to the ground before kicking her. The woman has already taken out two domestic violence restraining orders against the man.
Theft—April 24, 4:23 p.m., 200 block of W. Iowa Avenue. A woman took five items worth $23.49 from a retail store. Store security caught the individual and retained her until public safety officers arrived.
